Edwin Tharp
Ed Tharp is a seasoned executive strategist who has served as President, COO and CFO for a number of growth-oriented organizations. A Certified Public Accountant by trade, Tharp’s 25-year management experience includes positions as President & CEO of IDK International, CFO of ANI Pharmaceuticals, COO/CFO of International Dispensing Corporation (IDND), Business Controller for EA Engineering Science and Technology, Inc. and Senior Auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co.
Among Tharp’s many executive responsibilities his experience afforded, he is very proficient in issue management, the development & implementation of IT disaster recovery plans, internal control development & evaluation, information system implementations, SOX implementation, SEC reporting, management of auditing engagements, corporate business analysis and day-to-day operational oversight. Tharp’s strategic planning experience includes organizations in the manufacturing, scientific, engineering, consulting and non-profit industries. Tharp graduated Magna cum Laude with a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore; he holds many certifications, honors and professional affiliations, to include several National Honor Societies.
