Fallston Group Honored by SmartCEO as a 2015 Cornerstone Awards Finalist for Harford County

Fallston Group, LLC was honored as a business making an impact on its community and selected by SmartCEO as a 2015 Cornerstone Awards finalist for Harford County in a lunch celebration on August 12, 2015.

“Being a part of the social fabric of the community we live, work and raise a family in is a prominent Fallston Group value,” said Fallston Group Principal Rob Weinhold. “We encourage our team members to participate in local nonprofit boards and perform community service work by offering paid time off for such contributions.”

Fallston Group was selected and honored as one of two finalists for Harford County’s Small division. Chesapeake Environmental Management, Inc. took home the award for the division. SmartCEO received more than 60 applications from Baltimore area businesses and organizations for this year’s Cornerstone Awards and awarded the first-ever Landmark Award to Frederick County for making the largest investment in its local communities and region at large.

“It’s no secret that Greater Baltimore is home to some of the region’s most impactful companies. Moreover, they have become part of the fabric of the communities in which they reside,” says Jaime Nespor-Zawmon, president of SmartCEO events. “These companies are economic drivers, innovators and exemplary community stewards—they are true cornerstones of their communities. For that, we honor them.”

Nearly 200 executives and decision-makers attended the high-energy lunch celebration to honor all 2015 Cornerstone Awards finalists and winners and their achievements. The event kicked off with a networking reception, followed by a video-packed awards presentation that commemorated each company for their contributions to their local communities and the region at large.
